In 1937, the Kilgore College Majorette Line was established to perform at special events. They also played and march with their instruments in the Kilgore College Band. By the late 1960s the Kilgore College Majorette Line was renamed the Kilgore College Twirlers, also known as the “KCTs”, to fit a new approach to twirling.
The KC Twirlers have created a unique style of twirling at Kilgore College and established a performance standard far and above the average expectation. The KCT association has set and continued a standard of decorum. The KC Twirlers perform at many special presentations with Ranger band. Drawn from high schools across the nation, these outstanding young ladies have performed throughout the U.S. |
